mixwell, loWel headline new Movistar Riders team
Movistar Riders have announced that they have completed the signing of four players, including high-profile duo Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas and Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran.
Only Alejandro "mopoz" Fernández-Quejo Cano remains from the previous Movistar Riders squad as the Spanish organisation decided to revamp their squad in a bid to scale greater heights.
loWel is the only player Movistar Riders had to splash cash on, with the 21-year-old having been signed from Tempo Storm for an undisclosed fee.

He will reunite with his former Wololos teammates mixwell and Aitor "SOKER" Fernández in this new adventure, with Alejandro "alex" Masanet rounding out the roster after parting ways with Giants on Wednesday.
After previously admitting in an interview with HLTV.org that he wanted to put his country back on the map, mixwell expressed his delight at finally being able to bring "the best players in Spain together", and stressed that he wants to "compete at the highest level" with his new team.
"I left Spain after I was scouted by one of the best organizations in the world, OpTic, when I was 19-years-old," he told HLTV.org. "I left in search of opportunity and to be able to make a living playing CS:GO. I went to the United States of America following a dream.
"Since then, I have been growing personally and professionally. I have failed and I have succeeded. I have lived moments of all kind and met people I will never forget, which has given me the experience and confidence to take on another thrilling adventure.
"During the time I was away, Spain also grew. There are now people investing in the industry, we have strong national leagues, and organizations with the necessary infrastructure to fund great projects. Meanwhile, the best players in Spain have also been growing, each of us paving our own way, but we have never been able to get together to fulfil our dream.
"I am incredibly lucky to have the ability to create a project that I am more passionate about than any other before it, thanks to the help of [Movistar Riders CEO] Fernando Piquer, who has made bringing the best players in Spain together possible in an organization that can rise to the occasion and where we can grow without having to worry about anything other than getting results.
"We wanted to make a team that will excite fans, to create something that has been long in the making: a Spanish team to compete at the highest level. I am aware that it is no easy task, but if there is something I have proven it is that I never give up. I have surrounded myself with good, hard-working people to begin a wonderful new phase in my life, and you’re all welcome to be a part of one of my biggest dreams.
"Today, more than ever, I want to thank everyone who has supported me and stood by my side, and I hope we can enjoy this journey together. I’m back, and in very good company."
