Imperial have handed trials to Eimantas "⁠pounh⁠" Lazickas and Nikola "⁠Lobanjica⁠" Mijomanović, team coach Neil "⁠NeiL_M⁠" Murphy has revealed.

The duo will be replacing Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann, who have been moved to the bench, according to a tweet from Imperial.

pounh, who has played for teams such as Playing Ducks LN, 1337HUANIA and Refuse in the past, will link up with fellow Lithuanian players Žygimantas "⁠nukkye⁠" Chmieliauskas and Rokas "⁠EspiranTo⁠" Milasauskas, the latter of whom appears to be back on the team after being benched following a feud with kRYSTAL.

pounh will play for Imperial in the StarSeries qualifier

Lobanjica, 28, is a longtime FPL player and represented his country, Montenegro, in the European online qualifiers for the World Championships 2016. He will take over from kRYSTAL as the team's in-game leader in what will be his biggest challenge to date.

Imperial will make their first appearance with the duo on Thursday, against Epsilon, in the European qualifier for StarSeries i-League Season 6.

According to NeiL_M, a statement on the future of the team will be issued "in the next day or two." Imperial's roster for the StarSeries qualifier looks as follows:

Yeah... I was kind of hoping espi would just stay benched though. He's an amazing player but he needs to learn to calm the fuck down and be a mature adult before he joins a real team. krystal's leadership helped them win a title already, so clearly his igl style works, it's just espi being immature.

Nah, that's not the case since atleast PGL Major. Allowed countries in CIS minor: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan. You need to have majority 3/5 or 2/5 players if you're like Hellraisers 2 EU, 2 CIS.

Hmm, I don't think that full Lithuanian roster could work out. It would be a huge risk. Most of our players are average and really inconsistent. We have only a few really talented guys who can compete in high level - Kvik, EspiranTo, pounh, nukkye, kalinka, maybe Carcass. They all had played together in the past and the results weren't the best. When Kvik decided to move on and leave his Lithuanian team he even managed to get to the Major and became "a legend". In general, I think that playing in international rosters is a better option for Lithuanians than making up a full Lithuanian team.

Kvik already did an interview talking about this. The Lithuanian teams play without a coach and don't have a set schedule for practices, which leads to extremely inconsistent performances and people falling in and out of the team. This leads to many org changes and people getting salty over bad performances. There was even a game where a dude got vote kicked mid game for bottom fragging.
