After playing just two matches with Nikola "⁠Lobanjica⁠" Mijomanović, Imperial decided to stop trialing the Montenegrin due to organization-related reasons.

Four days ago, Imperial announced that they would be trialing Lobanjica and Eimantas "⁠pounh⁠" Lazickas, with the duo replacing Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann. With the new roster, Imperial beat Sprout and Epsilon to make it to the playoffs of the StarSeries i-League Season 6 qualifier.

hAdji will fill in for Imperial while they search for a permanent solution

However, via a tweet posted earlier today, Lobanjica revealed that he would no longer be playing for the team, implying that the decision was made by the organization, not the players.

That was confirmed in the official statement Imperial put out, where they claim they ended Lobanjica's trial to protect the organization and their sponsors:

"Today the team have decided to stop playing with Lobanjica, despite the good results in StarSeries so far. The reasoning behind this is to protect the organization and more importantly, our sponsors.

"The players would like to thank Loba for his efforts but are making this decision for their future going forward. We will continue to play with pounh and carry on searching for the final piece to our puzzle.

"As always, thank you to our fans who remain loyal and understanding of our situation." - Imperial

Filling in for Imperial in the StarSeries qualifier will be former Envy player, now free agent, Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss. In the meantime, Imperial will still be trialing pounh and be on the lookout for their new fifth.

Really sucks as Loba really seems like a cool guy, raising money for animal shelters and all that good stuff, just because he lets out some stupid crap on the internet people get judgmental and decide to end his trial even though his team-play and selfishness has been pretty satisfactory so far. Also they didnt give Loba a chance to explain himself.
