Imperial sign hAdji, pounh

Imperial have completed the signings of Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss and Eimantas "⁠pounh⁠" Lazickas, the UK-based organisation have announced.

The pair join Imperial on a permanent basis after filling in for the team in online competitions as replacements for benched duo Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann.

The announcement was made minutes after Imperial lost to Fragsters in the grand final of the European closed qualifier for StarSeries i-League Season 6.

The team had initially trialled Nikola "⁠Lobanjica⁠" Mijomanović instead of hAdji but ultimately decided against keeping the outspoken Montenegrin to "protect the organization and, more importantly, our sponsors", according to a statement issued by Imperial.

hAdji signs for Imperial after standing in for the team

pounh, 21, has played for teams such as Playing Ducks LN, 1337HUANIA and VwS, helping the latter to a third-place finish at the CIS Minor leading to ELEAGUE Major Atlanta with a 1.27 rating.

hAdji is mostly known for his brief period with Envy' main team, with whom he attended several international events earlier this year, including the WESG World Finals and DreamHack Masters Marseille. He was last seen playing for LeftOut at the Europe Minor, where the team finished 7th-8th.

Imperial did not comment on the future of kRYSTAL and TENZKI, with the German AWPer currently linked with a move to North American side Ghost, who are down to just four players after parting ways with Matt "⁠Pollo⁠" Wilson.

With these changes, Imperial now have:
