kRYSTAL to fill in for Ghost at ZOTAC, DH Masters Stockholm

Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend will step in for Ghost at the ZOTAC Cup Masters and at DreamHack Masters Stockholm, the Imperial backup player has announced.

On Twitter, the German player revealed that he will travel to the United States for a week-long bootcamp as the North American team step up preparations for the ZOTAC Cup Masters, which will begin on August 24.

The German player already filled in for Ghost over the weekend in the closed qualifier for MSI MGA, helping the team to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament. He replaced Matt "⁠Pollo⁠" Wilson, who was removed from the team in the aftermath of a quarter-final exit in the StarSeries i-League Season 6 North America qualifier.

kRYSTAL will play for Ghost in Hong Kong and Stockholm

kRYSTAL is currently weighing up his options after being out of Imperial's roster as the team revamped their squad with the additions of Eimantas "⁠pounh⁠" Lazickas and Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss.

While with Imperial, the former PENTA and Sprout member led the team to a first-place finish at DreamHack Open Summer and to a semi-final appearance at the ZOTAC Cup Masters Europe Finals, but a falling out with star player Rokas "⁠EspiranTo⁠" Milasauskas eventually saw him benched.

HLTV.org knows that kRYSTAL joins Ghost on a short-term loan, with the North American organisation holding the option to make the deal permanent after DreamHack Masters Stockholm, which will run from August 29 through September 2.

This means that Ghost will attend the two events with.

Good pickup if Ghost didn't already have an IGL and 2 capable AWPers on their team ... Ghost should pickup someone young instead, Like TenZ, Wrath, Grim, Food, ect, An even BIGGER move that they should be doing is picking up Sonic from Bravado, Not sure why one of the lower NA EPL teams haven't done so yet, Unless he believes in Bravado and doesn't want to leave

obviously ghost wont take anyone better and experienced from na cuz most of them are contracted to their orgs. and honestly i would take krystal than na pug players. sonic prob is contracted to bravado and i dont see that ghost would pay for him.
