Astralis beat TYLOO 2-1; claim DreamHack Masters playoff spot
After losing the opening map, Astralis recovered and took a 2-1 victory over TYLOO (13-16 Mirage, 16-7 Overpass, 16-5 Dust2), moving on to the playoffs in Stockholm.
TYLOO started Mirage by winning the T-side pistol and cleaning up the anti-ecos, before they overwhelmed a stacked A site in the first buy round to grab a significant lead over Astralis. In the sixth round, Hui "DD" Wu pulled off a 1v2 clutch to push TYLOO further forward, with the rifler having 14K-0D by the time they were 7-0 up.
Astralis finally stopped the bleeding then, ending the negative streak, but it didn't last, as a loss in the followup would see their bank broken. TYLOO went 11-1 up shortly, before Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen combined to give their team a lifeline. The former shut down a late-round A entry, while the latter picked off TYLOO members on their way into B.
Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand and co. won the last round of the half and the CT pistol, but Emil "Magisk" Reif opened up the following force-buy with the Deagle and gave Astralis a chance to come back. The Danes started mounting the pressure, winning eight out of nine rounds down the stretch, making the situation uncomfortable for TYLOO, who had a 12-3 halftime lead.
Just as things were getting tight for the Chinese-Indonesian side, BnTeT denied Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth a 1v2 clutch attempt and DD made a big play on the A site defence, which allowed TYLOO to close out the game 16-13.

Off the back of a dupreeh 1v3 in the pistol, Astralis grabbed a 5-0 lead on the CT side of their map pick, Overpass. DD and Kevin "xccurate" Susanto combined on B for TYLOO's first round of the map, which turned into a four-round streak. The Asian side was then on the brink of tying the score with a good late-round fake, but Xyp9x managed a last-second defuse to put his team back into the drivers' seat, with Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's ace in the following round helping the cause as well.
The score was 9-4 when gla1ve's double entry was cancelled out by Ke "captainMo" Liu's Deagle, TYLOO built on that to win the last two rounds of the half and make it 9-6. With the second pistol round going their way, Astralis were shortly on 12 rounds. An unlikely 2v3 clutch from Xyp9x and dupreeh was the final nail in the coffin for TYLOO on Overpass, and Astralis closed out the map 16-7.

On the decider map, Dust2, TYLOO's pistol round win was immediately responded on by Astralis, who therefore built a strong economy early. device was a thorn in TYLOO's in the opening of the map, with the AWPer grabbing 16 kills by the start of the tenth round (8-1).
A back-and-forth round that included HaoWen "somebody" Xu knifing Xyp9x ended in TYLOO's favor and stopped Astralis' string of rounds. With some quick entries going their way in the following rounds, TYLOO started getting back into the game, finishing the half 10-5.
Any chance of a TYLOO comeback was denied as Astralis comfortably won the pistol, the anti-ecos and the first rifle round as Terrorists (14-5). With a few fast pushes, Astralis closed out the map 16-5 and the series 2-1.
