daps to miss EPICENTER qualifiers

Because of a clash with his desk work at the FACEIT Major, NRG will have to find a replacement for Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele in the upcoming North American qualifier for EPICENTER 2018.

The Canadian in-game leader for NRG announced on Twitter that he will not be calling for his team in the qualifier, which will take place during the early stages of the FACEIT Major in London.

NRG will have to qualify for EPICENTER without daps

FACEIT announced last week that the 25-year old will be a part of the massive talent lineup for the London Major as a 'special guest' on the desk.

daps lamented on Twitter that he agreed to work at the Major the EPICENTER because the organisers 'told us about the qualifier' and that he didn't believe it would even take place now that 'a bunch of NA teams are missing' because of the Major.

NRG unexpectedly didn't qualify for London in spite of being one of the best North American teams recently, reaching the grand final at Starseries i-League season 5 as well as winning IEM Shanghai 2018.

The team's lineup for the EPICENTER North American closed qualifier will therefore be:
