OpTic withdraw from North American EPL; to compete in ESEA MDL Europe

As the team is no longer based in North America, OpTic won't participate in the upcoming season of NA ESL Pro League and will instead have to qualify for the European division through ESEA MDL Season 29.

The ruling has been revealed today by ESL, explaining that OpTic have requested a permanent move from the North American to European ESL Pro League, based on the fact that the players want to live and compete in Europe.

OpTic will be watching ESL Pro League Season 8 from the sidelines

ESL decided that OpTic's North American license would be withdrawn, as they are no longer able to participate in the competition, and revealed that "a new license holder for the vacant spot will be announced shortly". On the other hand, OpTic couldn't be moved to the European division of Pro League "based on the fact that there are no vacant licenses".

OpTic are, instead, invited to ESEA MDL Europe Season 29, from where they will have to earn their ESL Pro League status by qualifying through the relegation process. If Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer and co. are successful in their first attempt, they could be playing in ESL Pro League as soon as Season 9, which should kick off at the beginning of 2019.

In my opinion a top tier team is a top-10 team and Optic won't get in top-10 any time soon, in fact I honestly don't think they ever will if they don't change their attitude, k0nfig is too confident meaning he probably takes things too lightly and Snappi looks like he gives up, Jugi, CajunB and Gade just follows along for the crash. Prove me wrong dudes!

Pro League spots belongs to the orgs, not the players. SK is the owner of the spot at NA Pro League

If they were to anmounce that mibr replaces optic then they would have to announce another team to take SK's spot anyways, also remember that Immortals had a pro league spot that was never replaced after them and Misfits lost their rosters which resulted in NA EPL reducing their spots to 14

MIBR is already in Pro League. The spot is likely going to Swole Patrol as they finished 3rd in the NA relegation last season.

Swole Patrol has 9 map wins and 2 losses to Bravado. They would actually be able to hold their own pretty well in EPL (unlike Bravado). If Bravado gets the EPL slot though, I guarantee their fate will be on par with Dignitas from last season.
