Liquid breeze past OpTic at London Major

Liquid are off to a flying start at the FACEIT Major after picking up a comprehensive 16-4 victory over OpTic on Mirage in the first round of the NEw Challengers Stage.

The match began with Liquid holding off an A execute from OpTic in the pistol round, with Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski getting three kills to his name. After picking up both anti-ecos, the North Americans continued their good run, with the scoreline blooming to a 6-0 advantage.

OpTic leader Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer then called a timeout in a bid to halt Liquid's momentum, but the Danes would have to wait two more rounds to finally get something going. There was no follow-up to the round, however, as Liquid hit back immediately, further cementing their lead. OpTic looked disorganised at times and unable to find a way through the water-tight Liquid defence, so it was with no surprise that the first half ended with a 13-2 scoreline.

Liquid are 1-0 in the New Challengers Stage

Jakob "⁠JUGi⁠" Hansen rescued OpTic with a decisive 1v1 in the pistol round to keep his team in it, but that did not change the course of the game. After giving up a full eco round, Liquid regained control of proceedings and quickly hit match point. With the internet in the building now down, the match was finished offline, and the North Americans did not let that distraction get to them, claiming the final round they needed to seal a convincing win.

So you just comparing all time round that is easy, but compare periods that the the brazilian team was doing good, using your time that you researched is just 0.01 rating above and look at the percentage of headshots as dropped and rounds saved by teammates increased... the deaths per round incresead too and the stats is just that liquid is doing good but imagine a dark period how would be....
