FACEIT Major 2018 Challengers StageAstralis dominate compLexity at London Major
The No.1-ranked Danes had no problems in their postponed opener against Complexity as they won the best-of-one 16-4 on Inferno.
The match kicked off with Astralis winning the first pistol round as CTs with a methodical retake on A. They easily secured the two following rounds, as Emil "Magisk" Reif took them to 3-0 on the back of a clean 4k.
The Danes reached a five-round lead before Complexity put themselves on the board with two in a row. Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's men then assumed complete control of the half, only giving away one more round to the North Americans to reach a 12-3 lead at the switch.
Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor killed three in the second pistol and secured Complexity their fourth round. Unfazed, Astralis won the next with only four pistols and a single SMG, eventually cruising all the way to an unchallenging 16-4 win.
