Astralis beat Spirit; advance to New Legends Stage in London

Astralis are through to the New Legends Stage at the FACEIT Major after defeating Spirit 16-3 on Dust2 in the fourth round of the New Challengers Stage.

Astralis and Spirit played the first Dust2 game at the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage, with the Danes starting off on the CT-side. The match kicked off with Astralis' pistol and two anti-eco round wins (3-0).

Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz & company also secured the first weapon round to make it 4-0. Spirit got on the scoreboard in the sixth round but their economy got reset as they lost the following one (6-1). Astralis continued their dominance throughout the half, finishing it 12-3 ahead.

Astralis are through to the next stage

Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth got a triple kill in the second pistol to make it 13-3 and Astralis went on to finish off the map 16-3. With this result, the Danes have advanced to the New Legends Stage at the FACEIT Major.
