TYLOO see off Renegades at London Major

TYLOO have eliminated Renegades at the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage after beating them 16-10 on Inferno.

TYLOO and Renegades squared off on Inferno in the fourth round at the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage with their tournament lives on the line. Renegades opened up the game on the CT-side with a 5vs3 advantage in the pistol round but too many aggressive plays cost them, giving TYLOO the round victory.

TYLOO made it 4-0 after taking the anti-ecos and the first weapon round. Renegades picked up their first in the sixth round as Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis got a triple kill. TYLOO responded immediately to extend their lead to 6-1.

HaoWen "⁠somebody⁠" Xu had an outrageous 1vs4 clutch in the tenth round to make it 9-1 as he got two kills, planted the bomb on the B-site and rotated around the entire map to delay the defuse from the CT area long enough to win the round. TYLOO closed out the half with a 12-3 lead.

Renegades had a positive start to the second half with the first three round wins but TYLOO reacted in the first weapon round without losing a player (13-6). somebody clutched a 1vs1 in the 24th round to give TYLOO six match points.

The Chinese team won the game 16-10 and stayed alive at the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage. Meanwhile, Renegades' run in the tournament has come to an end.
