Liquid best NiP in London

Liquid win 16-10 against Ninjas in Pyjamas on Mirage to go 2-0 and get within one map win of making it to the playoffs.

Liquid rushed B on the first round of Mirage against Ninjas in Pyjamas, overtaking the defenses and planting on a 4vs2. After winning the anti-ecos, Liquid perfectly excecuted on B, taking the site and forcing the last two American players to save their weapons to make it 4-0. After losing the eco, Ninjas in Pyjamas were finally able to get on the board as Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund and Fredrik "⁠REZ⁠" Sterner with a double won a 3vs3 to defuse the bomb in an afterplant situation. Liquid then got one more on the board, butthen went for an A play and after not checking Shadow, GeT_RiGhT got a double with the UMP to keep the Swedes in the game. Able to follow it up, Ninjas in Pyjamas brought it to 3-6 prompting Liquid to take a timeout.

With 6-5 on the board for Liquid, Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken played a crucial afterplant getting three frags on A to keep his side up going late into the half. They then lost an execute on B and lost the following on eco, making it even, 7-7. Ninjas in Pyjamas then took the last round and half to go ahead as the teams switched sides.

Ninjas in Pyjamas played the first round of the second half to B, but Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella, Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski, and Twistzz won a 3vs3 afterplant to tie the match back up. After losing the eco, Ninjas in Pyjamas won the first gun round as Liquid didn’t have upgraded weapons, but the American side then stayed ahead by winning the third round. Up 10-9, Liquid were able to win a 3vs3 afterplant to start to set the pace in the half. With 12-9 on the board, Jonas "⁠Lekr0⁠" Olofsson was able to get two opening frags, but the round evened out as EliGE made it a 3vs3. Finally, with the bomb planted on A, Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman was able to close the round out with a double.

Doubles by nitr0 and Twistzz defending B then gave Liquid the 13th round, although a plant by Ninjas in Pyjamas allowed them to force up. It wouldn't be enough, though, as with the momentum on their side, Liquid would be able to go on to close it out, 16-10, to add another victory to their record.
