Na`Vi send FaZe into 0-2 pool in London

Natus Vincere have picked up their first win in the FACEIT Major's New Legends Stage after defeating FaZe 16-12 on Overpass.

The third 0-1 match of the tournament featured two heavyweights in the form of Natus Vincere and FaZe, the No.2 and No.5 teams in the world, respectively. Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen opened up the action in the pistol round with a trio of kills to help his team hold off a B execution from Na`Vi.

After losing both ecos, the Ukrainian team responded in the first full gun round with a decisive 1v1 by Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev, but FaZe hit back instantly. karrigan's troops further cemented their lead before Na`Vi clawed their way back into the game with two successful force-buys.

Na`Vi bounce back from Astralis defeat

That round turned the tide back in Na`Vi's favour, with the Ukrainian team bringing the deficit to just two rounds (5-7). FaZe did not let the game snowball out of control, however, and tightened up their defence to restore a five-round lead before the end of the half.

Now playing on the Terrorist side, FaZe further added to their lead by taking the pistol round, but a massive blunder on their part saw them lose the following anti-eco. Na`Vi rode that momentum and went on a massive run, taking the lead for the first time in the game.

Down 11-12, FaZe were able to bring Na`Vi's streak to an end and restore parity, only to get punished for their indecisiveness by Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev, who secured a quad-kill with the AWP. The Ukrainian team refused to take their foot off the gas after that and bagged the next three rounds en route to a 16-12 finish.

The thing is NiKo isn't set up for carry like s1mple is in na'vi , we think he is supposed to be the main carry of FaZe but the main carry is whoever is in the best form that game , npt only NiKo but every1 in FaZe has to fight for frags cuz no one is really set up , still agree he doesn't play to that top3 spot we all seem to give him.

Both the previous major finalists fucking suck now I didn't see the C9 vs HR game but C9 played like complete shit vs Vega And Faze are just not working since olof got back C9 need a strong fragger to replace styko. It seemed like Golden was going for a really agressive style against vega but ska needs to pick it up to anything close he was to last major and they need another good player to pull off that style. In this game olof wasn't even the problem, two of the best players, rain and niko, didn't turn up at all.

Faze T side was fcking non-existent. Just as some players. Na’Vi very solid, kinda surprised how they let Faze get to double figures during 1st half. But I mean this was expected AF when NaVi plays top1 team in the world and playing really good by getting to 14th round (If Edward was more impactful they could have grabbed a win) while Faze got annihiliated by BIG and didn’t even get to double figures. GL to NaVi in the future. Faze need more than GL tho. Objectively, Proud Faze Fan since 1999.
