NiP, fnatic pull out of StarSeries S6

Due to busy schedules, Swedish duo Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic have decided to skip the upcoming Starseries i-League Season 6, set to take place in Kiev from October 7-14, Starladder have announced.

Just two and a half weeks before the event, Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic have decided to pull out of Starseries i-League Season 6.

One of the open slots will be filled by the Russian/Ukranian squad Vega Squadron, who recently impressed with their run at the FACEIT Major, as Dmytro "⁠jR⁠" Chervak's men reached the New Legends Stage in London. According to Starladder, the team to take up the last remaining spot will be revealed on September 24.

f0rest and the rest of NiP won't go to Kiev

Both Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic were unable to reach the playoffs at the ongoing FACEIT Major, as the teams fell short in the New Legends Stage last week. Jonas "⁠Lekr0⁠" Olofsson's troops have BLAST Pro Series Istanbul as well as the online leagues of ECS Season 6 and ESL Pro League in their upcoming schedule alongside an appearance at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen in early November.

fnatic will also compete in ECS and EPL, and will see LAN action at ESL One New York from September 26-30 as well as at IEM Chicago, which starts November 6.

With the two Swedish squads pulling out, Starseries i-League Season 6 will feature the following teams:

Best Swedish team? they are barely a top 10 team right now, they also did not get into the top 8 in the major wich a team like them should have. and they lost to complexity, hellraisers and should have lost to vega. they had the best possible road to get to the top 8 at the major and they didn't get there. its not that they played a faze, astralis mibr TL, they only had navi as the real hard oponent. and NIP is playing/played better than fnatic aswell. -pita +GeT_RiGhT -GeT_RiGhT +draken NIP T1 team again. GTR is the worst player in average, all others can sometimes be MVP depending om match & map. GTR is most of the time at bottom or close to bottom. They need a main awper, while draken is far from the best alternative, he has a play style which fits NIP (more aggressive) and they should adapt strats to fit that kind of roster. At least draken would have more impact for the team than GTR been having the last couple of years. I think this simple change would take them from a top8 to a top3-4 or so team.
