BOOT-d[S] and Beyond qualify for eXTREMESLAND Asia Finals

The Singapore and Thailand Regional Finals for eXTREMESLAND 2018 have come to an end with BOOT-d[S] and Beyond winning their respective qualifiers.

Both events took place this weekend on September 22-23 to determine their representatives for the $100,000 tournament, held in Shanghai, China from October 18-21.

BOOT-d[S] attended the Singaporean Regional Finals with former teammate Benjamin "⁠moxie⁠" Kou stepping into Benedict "⁠Benkai⁠" Tan's shoes briefly, and cruised through the BO3 double-elimination format. Without dropping a single map, they crushed all the local teams in quick succession to win the event, after blundering the local WESG qualifier earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the Thailand qualifier had eight teams present at the offline competition in Bangkok. Beyond advanced to the grand final after eliminating Alpha Red in the quarter-finals and Lucid Dream in the semis.

The other grand finalist was Signature, who defeated dsG&friends and MiTH respectively. Tosapol "⁠TOR⁠" Saekow and co. managed to edge past Warittorn "⁠RoLEX⁠" Kalanukarn's crew in the three-map series (16-6 on Overpass, 12-16 on Nuke, and 16-10 on Cache).

Only the Japanese slot remains incomplete, which will take place in Tokyo on September 29-30. The current list of participants for the main event is as follows:

Wait, optic India??? When did that happened and are they good enough to compete against these Asian teams some of which have played against Navi, c9 and faze

happened few months ago. Not sure if they can compete against Top Asian teams like Tyloo, MVPPK, Flash,etc. Let's see their performance as this is the first international LAN tournament they are attending.
