Tainted Minds sign tucks

Tainted Minds have completed their Oceanic roster with the addition of Tyler "⁠tucks⁠" Reilly from Chiefs in a three-month deal.

Shortly after tucks and Chiefs parted ways, Tainted Minds revealed that both parties have come to an mutual agreement with the VAC banned player's future for the next three months, which sees him joining recent comrade Mike "⁠ap0c⁠" Aliferis on the Tainted Minds roster.

In addition, both sides are open to revisiting the contract at the end of that period for further negotiations.

This is a strange move for the Oceanic squad, with tucks' VAC ban preventing them from competing in Valve-sanctioned events as in-game leader ap0c mentioned recently that his main goal was to qualify for the next Major.

The roster is currently competing in ESEA MDL Season 27 Australia, ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 7 and the upcoming LPL Pro ANZ Invitational next month.

Maybe Valve will unban him who knows, besides this the team wants to focus on regional / continental tournaments considering there is at least 3 teams that are better than them ( TyLoo, Grayhound & ORDER gl beating that. )

well i dont think that valve will ever unban vac banned players... we will see how they will play in future :D

Imo; apoc and yam are both old school.. and both should probably retire.. apocs been dropped from TM. Befor.. was that because of yam ? How could you go back to a team that dropped/dogged you.. he was originally in winterfox with zewsy & ofnu.. think they would have had a say if he got dropped?

Both are good imo, fine IGL's that can frag, ap0c style changed quiet a lot taht's why he is picked today. Maybe it's personal and the players want to get ap0c back since he got better, tehy can always kick him later if it doesn't work out. Also i would be happy if yam joins Rogue instead of cadiaN that will go to North.

i dont think it was anything personal, i think Yam wanted to awp but rickeh was the primary awper on renegades rickeh is a better awper then yam anyway and if cadian leaves rogue then rickeh should just take up the awp and rogue should try to get a better rifler/support

That's what i think too and it's likely to happen, also he's a much better AWPer than pretty much anyone in NA right now apart from guys that are already playing in other teams. It depends on them to choose but indeed it would make Rickeh drasticly more efficient.
