Natus Vincere eliminate fnatic from ESL One New York

fnatic are now out of ESL One New York after Natus Vincere bested the Swedish-Belgian side 2-0 (Inferno 16-7, Train 16-8) in Group A's elimination match.

fnatic chose Inferno to start off the series, but things did not go their way at the beginning of the opening map, as Natus Vincere got off to a 5-1 lead after they secured the pistol round and broke their opponents in the second gunround.

The Swedish side responded with three in a row on the back of Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom's and William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin's B defence, but the tide turned again when Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev and Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev came out on top of a 2v2 situation on A and Na`Vi rallied to a 10-5 half.

fnatic clinched the second pistol, but Edward and s1mple combined again in the following forcebuy, with the former clutching a 1v2 to swing the economy in Na`Vi's favor and put Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström's side on the back foot once more. fnatic could not catch up, as after winning a gunround, Na`Vi broke them again and went on to secure map one at 16-7.

After getting off to a slow start against Gambit, Na`Vi eliminated fnatic with a convincing win

The second map was Train and, this time, fnatic secured the first pistol as CT when Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell picked up two kills and two assists to help his team go up 2-0. Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov and s1mple put their best foot forward in the third round, turning around a 3v5 situation with a triple and a wild 1v1 clutch, respectively.

That allowed the Ukraine-based side to go up 5-2 before the Swedes evened things out again at 5-5 with Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson, ScreaM, and draken each grabbing key multikills. Na`Vi quickly retook the lead with a halfbuy win on A and picked up the momentum to clinch another 10-5 half on the offense.

When draken secured the second pistol round for his team with a 1v2 clutch, fnatic closed the gap to 7-10 and went up against a semi-eco from Na`Vi, but that turned out to be enough for Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko's squad, as Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev stepped up to the plate with a fantastic Deagle quad-kill.

That once again set off a streak for Natus Vincere, who reached their 14th round shortly afterward and soon closed out the series at 16-8, 2-0, eliminating fnatic from the tournament.

Idk why JW stops being a pussy and picks the awp up again and they get someone aggressive to replace draken. Then xizt can lead and go even stat wise krimz can get back into a groove and idk about if scream stays

They just give room to draken but still he can't perform up to their expectations and instead the 4 other fnatic players cant play nicely :( they need to bench draken I think their strats are not g00d

False, he is actually right, he is put in great position to be able to perform and fails to live up to it.. I wouldn't say he needs to go but they certainly need to change their system.. And he has been awful with the AWP for monthes, he is better with an AK..

think it was back in 2014/2015 when pro players like kqly, emilio, smf and others were vac banned. flusha and jw were in their prime absolutely shitting on other top players in the scene and making them look like they were new to the game. after all the vacs and to this day flusha and jw are rarely (if ever) at the top of the scoreboard in their respective teams and just havent been anything like the devastating players they once were.

Has nothing to do with that you dolt. JW fell off the instant he couldn't run and awp, and especially after they nerfed the pull time on the CZ. He always played like an idiot and was bound to hit a wall as soon as he couldn't just outshoot the first thing he saw (this happened to KennyS to a degree as well, though he was always a better awper than JW). Flusha has been excellent until last year, so unless you're implying some big fucking VAC ban happened in 2017 I don't know what you're talking about. Get a fucking clue, the flusha boat sailed literally over 3 years ago.
