Hellcase Cup 7 to continue in early October

After a five-month-long break, the seventh season of the Hellcase Cup series will continue in early October with four new teams joining the competition.

The first portion of the Hellcase Cup was played in February to April, with 12 teams making it to the single-elimination playoffs after playing two round-robin groups of eight.

After the first two rounds of the bracket, AVANGAR, AGO, Kinguin, and ALTERNATE aTTaX made it to the quarter-finals, where they'll join four new, directly invited teams: Vega Squadron, Spirit, Fragsters, and Imperial.

The remainder of the playoffs will be played on October 1-5, with the following schedule applying to the quarter-finals:

Monday, October 1
17:00 - Imperial vs. ALTERNATE aTTaX
20:00 - Spirit vs. AGO

Tuesday, October 2
21:00 - Fragsters vs. Kinguin

Wednesday, October 3
17:00 - Vega Squadron vs. AVANGAR

The prizepool of the tournament has been set at $57,000, with the distribution looking as follows:
