To celebrate Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken's ESL One New York 2018 MVP award by HLTV.org and betway, our video editor Anton "Molen" Koev has put together a compilation with some of the player's best moments.

The 18-year-old earned the first MVP medal of his career after a great display at ESL One New York, where he boasted the highest rating of the tournament at 1.36. Even though Liquid could not beat MOUZ in the grand final, Twistzz topped the scoreboard with an impressive 1.34 rating.

Twistzz was the best player from the event in seven other stats categories, including damage difference per round (+24.3) and KAST (78.1%). Moreover, the American star was one of the top five players in terms of damage per round (89.1), deaths per round (0.56), success in opening duels (61.7%) and rounds with at least one kill (51.9%).

Unfortunately Twistzz couldn't carry nitr0, Elige, NAF and Taco. Nobody but Twistzz had a good final as a whole.

My friend listen up. U have to look deeper then just the stats. How many times did Elige or nitro get killled trying to run to the site that taco was holding and got ran over on. Way to many. Naf yes had bad series but then again he hold b with taco on some maps. Poor guy had no backup cuz taco was dead already.
