Kap3r set to join AGO

Kinguin backup player Kacper "⁠kaper⁠" Słoma is on the brink of joining AGO on loan, HLTV.org has learned.

The two organisations have already reached an agreement for the loan transfer, with the deal expected to be formalised in the coming hours.

According to a report from Weszlo Esport, kaper will be replacing Mateusz "⁠TOAO⁠" Zawistowski, who will be moved to a backup position.

TOAO's time on AGO's roster is coming to an end

The change follows a run of poor form that culminated with AGO finishing in third-fourth place at the ESL Polish Championship Season 17 Finals and in second place at the ESL Pro European Championship after wasting a one-map advantage in the best-of-five final against LDLC.

kaper was signed by Kinguin in October 2017 as a replacement for Bartosz "⁠Hyper⁠" Wolny, but ended up being moved to the bench at the start of the year, when the Polish organisation signed Portuguese duo Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco and Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes.

In May, he was loaned out to tomorrow along with Grzegorz "⁠SZPERO⁠" Dziamałek, and helped the team to win the Polish Esport League Season 3 Finals and to secure a spot in the closed qualifier for the Europe Minor - in which the team could not compete as Kinguin recalled the players following the end of the loan deal.

These changes will leave AGO with:
