MSL joins Rogue

After being benched in North earlier this month, Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen has now signed with Rogue, the player has announced.

The 23-year old was moved to an inactive position as North replaced him with the former Rogue in-game leader Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller. The move came after a dissappointing exit in the New Challenger Stage of the FACEIT Major, which happened only days after the team had won DreamHack Masters Stockholm, where they beat prominent teams such as Natus Vincere and Danish rivals Astralis.

MSL's new AWPing role netted him the MVP medal at DreamHack Masters

In Rogue, MSL will take over as in-game leader from Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend, whom the team has had on board as caller ever since cadiaN's departure. The veteran Dane will help a currently struggling team, as Rogue are currently third from last with a 4-11 record in ESL Pro League and placed sixth in ECS with five victories in ten games.

With MSL coming into the roster, Rogue now fields the following lineup:

Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen
Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin
Hunter "⁠SicK⁠" Mims
Daniel "⁠vice⁠" Kim
Ricardo "⁠Rickeh⁠" Mulholland

The 23-year-old’s first game with his new team will be later tonight, as Rogue play TeamOne in the quarter finals of the DreamHack Open Winter NA qualifier.
