Renegades qualify for ESL Pro League S8 Finals
The third team from the North American region to qualify for the ESL Pro League S8 Finals is Renegades, who found success online shortly after bringing in two new Oceanic players to the fold.
From 18 matches played in ESL Pro League, Renegades have taken 11 straight wins, with four more games finishing after overtime, which was enough for the team to secure a spot at the LAN finals in Denmark.
The success follows a large number of changes: replacing Karlo "USTILO" Pivac and Noah "Nifty" Francis with two Oceania-based prospects, Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai and Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas, having Aaron "AZR" Ward take on the in-game leader role, and Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović rejoin the team as the coach.

Their successful campaign comes off the back of consistent wins over the lower-ranked teams such as Luminosity, Rogue and eUnited, but they also traded maps with Liquid and Cloud9, and lost two maps in overtime to this season's surprise, Ghost.
The main driving force behind the success has been the imported talent Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad, who boasts a 1.18 rating for the 18 maps played so far. However, the rest of the players have above-average ratings as well, with the two rookies, Gratisfaction and Liazz, adapting quickly and sitting on a 1.06 and 1.05 ratings for the ESL Pro League season, respectively.
With Renegades qualifying, the ESL Pro League S8 Finals team list currently looks as follows:
