NiP hold FaZe to draw; Na`Vi beat Cloud9 in Copenhagen

Natus Vincere beat Cloud9 16-13 at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2018, while FaZe could not close out their match against Ninjas in Pyjamas, ending 15-15.

Played out on Mirage, the match FaZe and Ninjas in Pyjamas kicked off with Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Håvard "rain" Nygaard winning the CT pistol for their team with clean doubles before the European mixture followed that up with an anti-eco.

The Swedes responded with a convincing trio of rounds, but that actually sparked a massive run from their opponents, who went on to secure a dominant 11-4 half-time lead as they lost just one more round due to a 1v3 clutch from Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg.

rain's 26 kills were not enough for FaZe to win the map

In the second half, Ninjas in Pyjamas did not back down and found a lifeline in the match by stringing four rounds together. FaZe further added to their lead after losing only one of the next four rounds, 14-9, but that inspired Ninjas in Pyjamas to tighten up their defence and equalize things off. A heroic ace from Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács then put his team on match-point, but their opponents did not let them close out the map.

Meanwhile, Natus Vincere and Cloud9 also battled it out on Mirage, with the latter squad picking up a 2-0 lead as Terrorists to start off the match. Although the Ukrainians levelled up the score, Cloud9 were determined to remain in the driving seat and eventually bagged a 5-3 lead.

From that moment, Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey and co. simply could not get through the defence – except in the 12th round, when the Frenchman pulled a 1v2 post-plant situation – with Natus Vincere making it a 9-6 half in their favour.

Cloud9 once again began the half on the right foot, this time around with a four-round winning streak. Natus Vincere lost only one more before hitting match-point and Cloud9 still tried to equalize the match, but Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's men remained calm and collected to seal the deal at 16-13.

No, I'm not blind XD C9 has been dogshit all year in comparison to their major. I just don't want one of the most entertaining finals I've seen won by them to be taken away from them.
