BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2018Cloud9 stun FaZe; NiP crush MIBR at BLAST Pro Series
Cloud9 shocked FaZe on Overpass, 16-13, while Ninjas in Pyjamas made light work of MIBR on Train, 16-4, in the third round of the group stage at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.
On Overpass, a double and a triple-kill from Timothy "autimatic" Ta and William "RUSH" Wierzba, respectively, set Cloud9 up for a great start as Terrorists, with Maikil "Golden" Selim's men cruising to a 6-0 lead without breaking a sweat.
With multi-kills from Håvard "rain" Nygaard, FaZe got on the board with a three-round winning streak to put a halt to their opponents' momentum. But that would not stop Cloud9, who kept the European mixture at bay and went into half-time up 11-4.
In the second half, Cloud9 quickly increased their lead by winning their second pistol with doubles from autimatic and Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey. Cloud9 kept up that pace and quickly hit 14 rounds, fending off a late comeback attempt from FaZe to seal the deal at 16-13.

The clash between Ninjas in Pyjamas and MIBR was played out on Train, and it kicked off with Fredrik "REZ" Sterner picking up the CT pistol for his team with an all-headshots ace. Despite buying up in the third round, MIBR could not stop Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg from finding a triple-kill, which led the Swedes to eventually go up 4-0.
MIBR responded with their first round, but Ninjas in Pyjamas instantly reset the Brazilians' economy with a tight defence, which eventually earned them a 10-1 lead. That was when Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's men finally woke up, with the Terrorists stringing three rounds together before losing the final round of the half.
Ninjas in Pyjamas came from half-time with their eyes set on the victory, and won five rounds in a row for a clean 16-4 finish, putting MIBR out of contention for a final spot.
