Ninjas in Pyjamas have advanced to the grand final at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen after beating Cloud9, while Natus Vincere became their opponents by defeating MIBR in 30 rounds.

MIBR came into their game against Natus Vincere without a single point. The Brazilian-American team kicked off Overpass on the CT-side and got off to a good start, leading 3-1.

Natus Vincere responded with five rounds in a row to lead 6-3 but MIBR secured five of the following six to finish the half 8-7 ahead.

Natus Vincere's game against MIBR went to 30 rounds

MIBR extended their lead to 9-7 with the pistol round victory in the second half but Natus Vincere hit back with a seven round streak, reclaiming the lead and making the score 14-9. MIBR came back and tied the game at 14-14 but Natus Vincere picked up the last two rounds to win the map 16-14.

UPDATE: Natus Vincere have guaranteed their place in the grand final as neither Astralis, nor Cloud9 can finish the group higher than the CIS team due to the tiebreaker rules.

Cloud9 faced Ninjas in Pyjamas on Mirage and secured the first four rounds on the T-side. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to come back from 6-2 to tie the game at 6-6. The Swedish squad added three more rounds to their streak prior to the halftime break (9-6). Ninjas in Pyjamas won the second pistol thanks to Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg's double kill and reached double digits.

NiP have secured their place in the grand final

Fredrik "⁠REZ⁠" Sterner got a triple kill in the 24th round which earned Ninjas in Pyjamas six match points. f0rest determined the final score with a quad kill and a 1vs2 clutch. With this result, Ninjas in Pyjamas have advanced to the grand final at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.

What makes you think they tried? They had a fair chance to make the finals, they didn't make it. The format was not the reason for the useless last round, the results were. Every team had their veto so not one team was forced to play their worst maps. They just did not deliver.
