Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev is the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen by HLTV.org and betway.

The Na`Vi talent won the race for the award after inspiring the Ukrainian team to win the title with a stunning 1.43 tournament rating - his third-highest at a Big Event in 2018.

Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov, who leaves Copenhagen with a 1.32 rating, was the only other contender for the MVP medal, but his team-leading 1.54 rating in the grand final was not enough for the Russian to get ahead of his teammate.

s1mple wins his sixth MVP medal of 2018

s1mple was in the top five in 14 stats leaderboards, leading ten of them, including rating, damage per round (94.4), kills per round (0.97) and opening duel success (62.9%).

With this award, s1mple takes his medal tally up to eight, with six of those honors coming in 2018 (StarSeries Seasons 4 and 5, DreamHack Masters Marseille, CS:GO Asia Championships, ESL One Cologne and now BLAST).

I could also say. Good job doing all of that cold, now you just need to win 6 mvps in 1 year while not being on the number 1 ranked team, win 2 mvps while not winning the tournament, post a 1.35 rating at big events on average, be the best awper and best rifler in the world at the same time, be first in opening duels, and 1vX s won at the same time, and then you will be better then s1mple. Coldzera has done a bunch of stuff s1mple hasn't, s1mple has done a bunch of stuff coldzera hasn't, saying s1mple isn't as good as cold was because he didn't have the same specific accomplishments that s1mple had is ridiculous. They are both very very very good and there are legitimate arguments in favor of both players being better.
