Alchemists join Vitriolic

Team Alchemists have confirmed they have decided to link up with Vitriolic Gaming.

The Norwegian team were on show at Dreamhack Summer 09 last weekend, failing to make their mark at the event after crashing out at the group stage.

They have now joined the ranks of UK-based organisation Vitriolic Gaming, who also boast two Counter-Strike: Source squads, one American and one European.

Tommy "tacky" Mosegaard believes that joining Vitriolic will provide them with a much better support and the opportunity to focus solely on Counter-Strike affairs.

"At Alchemists we really did the job ourselves, now we can just relax and finally have some time to pracctice for the big upcoming events," he told HLTV.org.

The team's next tournament will be GameGune in Spain, where Mosegaard hopes they will put it a nice show.

"We have got alot of time to practice now, we are going to bootcamp a couple of days before gamegune, so I feel like we can make some more damage than we did at dreamhack of course," he added.

were in vitriolic u see and E?u know u mean to Veol with the V eolithic, i know, but their time is gone, so as heaton, so as element, as other good teams, but the guys in here always talk about guys that retired, johnny R etc, theres is a life after cs, and who knows, if in 3-4 years u wont be saying "comeback vitriolic" let the fresh blood run this business...:)

dude go the new that LD beat sk in DH final, and see how many kids ask for spawn, fisker, and a lot more... this kids always think about the past, EOL, sk2003, but their time is gone. always the same thing, "comeback Jonnhy R", "comeback Heaton", i mean wth, let the new guys run cs...am i wrong?

what happend to vertigo? he was in team, but now he's gone. and where REAL is playing now? cuz he was in nation team, but not in other team?

Norwegian players have there way with jumping clans, all we see in the gaming news are that teams got new lineups, vertigo has left aU and are now apart of Oxzyn, REAL plays in PCWteam with syrtekz(busted) and some other guys. so we will probably see aU with a new lineup soon!

Had several people saying that you should watch out regarding this organization. It apparently folded many times and had money issues before (what I heard). Hope the best for the Norwegians, need a strong Norwegian team on the scene again.

Who has told you this? We've never folded or had money problems ;-) We got rid of our old CS:S team due to internal reasons and after we removed them, the CEOs focused on their real lives (studying etc). I'd be interested to know who told you those rumours :)

We removed our CS:S team and ceased operation in mid January 2009. So that was 5 months ago, we didn't fold by any means. People need to think before they comment! :)

everyone needs to stop saying REAL should join this team imo... if by some chance he (REAL) DID want to keep playing seriously again in a proper team - then he could easily make a team far better than this on his own using other players. this team is average at best, have to say it, soz.

well, I do agree, but some of the players in this team rly could made it in an eventual REAL line. I would hope for QUZ, REAL, kalle, tacky + a caller (zEn, Azid, torri, KORN).
