Radoslaw "MAKKU" Makuch has put together a highlight reel with some of Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz's best moments in Chicago.

The 23-year-old earned the tenth MVP award by HLTV.org and betway of his career after helping Astralis win the first edition of IEM Chicago. The Dane's performance was consistent throughout the tournament, averaging a 1.15 rating after a total of 13 maps.

device was not the highest-rated player of the event, but he was a key figure for Astralis, especially in the playoffs, during which he boasted a 1.19 rating. The Danish AWPer was also featured in three categories of stats leaderboards: kills (248), AWP kills (103) and KDD (+41).

Have you been looking at this thread? Most of us here are siding with the Brazilians on this one....this MVP video is full of eco and exit frags ffs. I don't think device is as bad (as in playstyle and impact) of a player some people make him out to be but holy hell, if the clips in this video aren't statpadding, I don't know what is. fyi, xyp9x would have been my pick for the MVP.

This MVP is being all about increase his chances to be #1 at the end of the year, as MVP medals count a lot when it comes to HLTV top20. I love device and I hate his brainless haters, but here xyp got robbed. I hope politics stay out from the csgo scene. xyp good stats, not so different from devve’s, but huge impact especially in the do-or-die match against fnatic. he literally saved astralis from elimination on inferno, 100% KAST in the comeback rounds and a clutch in round 30, when was 14-15 .
