HS to stand in for Fragsters at DreamHack Atlanta

Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn will fill the void in Fragsters' lineup at DreamHack Open Atlanta, the organisation has confirmed.

The 21-year-old Estonian will take the place of Lucas "⁠Bubzkji⁠" Andersen, who was revealed to be unable to attend the event due to medical issues just 24-hours before Fragsters's opening best-of-one match against Rogue.

The Dane later said in a Twitlonger that he had a panic attack shortly before the team left for Atlanta, and that life as a pro player 'introduced many medical and psychological problems', the 20-year-old also stating that he did not want to 'hold the team back'.

Fragsters, who received a direct invite, had little time to find a fifth for their opening match, with a small window and not many options as teams are currently traveling and preparing for other events. In the end, the Danes linked up with HS, who well fits the "skilled enough" inquiry put forth by Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali yesterday.

The Estonian talent has been sporting the Tempo Storm threads alongside Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco since May, with mixed results competing through online qualifiers and tournaments, including a 5-6th place finish at Moche XL Esports in Lisbon, Portugal. The news of HS' Atlanta attendance comes only shortly after it was reported that the Tempo Storm players are having contract disputes with the organisation.

Since Moche XL, HS has not stepped foot at an offline event, but his talents are needed by a young Danish squad, who will take on Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin & company in Group B today at 22:30 .
