ESEA S29 Global Challenge & EPL Relegation details announced

ESEA has revealed details of the upcoming Season 29 Global Challenge, which will also host the relegation process of the European and North American ESL Pro League in Dallas, Texas.

The two events will take place at the Mavs Gaming training facility in Dallas, Texas. Both regions' ESL Pro League Relegation, as well as both regions' grand finals of the Mountain Dew League, will run from December 5-6.

Virtus.pro will have a chance to return to ESL Pro League
after missing out on the last three seasons

The winner of each MDL final will lock their spot in the ninth season of ESL Pro League, with the losers then taking part in the relegation process to battle for two more spots in each region. 3DMAX and Virtus.pro topped the last season of European MDL, while Swole Patrol and cantwinalan did so in NA.

Wednesday, December 5th

Singularity (MDL #3)

The Global Challenge itself will follow on December 7-9. There, eight teams — MDL's top three teams in each of the main regions and the winners of Australian MDL and Brazilian ESEA Open — will be distributed into two GSL groups of four.

Those will be played in best-of-ones in the upper bracket and best-of-threes in elimination and deciding matches, with the top two teams securing berths in the single-elimination playoffs.

What are you talking about ? Fnatic didnt even have a full roster most of the online saison and nip had a rough start. Now nip got second at BlastPRO copenhagen and fnatic got fourth at IEM chicago where they could have been in the final easily
