ECS Season 6 FinalsMIBR defeat mousesports in Texas
MIBR have booked their spot in the Group A winners' match at ECS Season 6 Finals with a convincing 16-7 victory over MOUZ on Mirage.
The Brazilians started off the match on the right foot, winning four rounds in a row fairly easily to take control of proceedings. MOUZ responded well, eventually bringing the deficit to a single round, but MIBR were in charge and continuously shut down their opponents to go up 12-3 by half-time, with Marcelo "coldzera" David leading the way with 15 kills.
MOUZ found a lifeline in the second half after winning their T-side pistol thanks to Robin "ropz" Kool's triple-kill in a 2vs4 situation, in which the 18-year-old also pulled a 1vs2 clutch.
Although Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's troops followed that up with three more rounds to make it 7-12, MIBR responded in convincing fashion, stringing four rounds together to seal the deal at 16-7.
