CHEF-KOCH steps in for ESC Gaming
ESC Gaming have confirmed that David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel will be their fifth player at GameGune 2009.
The former Team Alternate star appears to have become the most sought-after stand-in player in Germany.
Last weekend, Nagel was seen representing myRuSh at the EPS relegation tournament in Cologne, where his team failed to secure promotion to the top-tier division despite the 27-year-old's contribution.
He has now been confirmed as a stand-in for ESC Gaming at GameGune 2009, a tournament which will take place from July 23 to 25 in Bilbao, Spain.
The ex-Team64 AMD man will fill the void left by Christoph "nabeo" Maurer - who has decided to step down from the active line-up due to his lack of time for Counter-Strike affairs.
With ESC Gaming now on the lookout for a new fifth man, whether Nagel will be brought in on a permanent basis after GameGune is still very much subject to conjecture.
ESC Gaming will be at GameGune 2009 with the following team:
Christoph "loomit" Normann
Dominik "d0m AZ" Wrabetz
Lucas "recki" Reckermann
Wolfgang "tankJr" Maurer
David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel
