HellRaisers defeat Gambit at SuperNova CS:GO Malta

HellRaisers are through to the Group B winners' match after beating Gambit 16-9 on Dust2.

The second Group B opener started off with HellRaisers winning their CT pistol on the back of a double and a triple-kill from Bence "⁠DeadFox⁠" Böröcz and Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker, respectively, with the 23-year-old Hungarian following that up with a trio of kills to stop a force-buy from their opponents.

Gambit, who are fielding Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk instead of Dmitry "⁠dimasick⁠" Matvienko in Malta, won two of the next three rounds before woxic came up huge with an AWP quad-kill, which inspired HellRaisers to go up 6-2. Gambit responded in convincing fashion, however, constantly shutting down the deffensive side to turn the score around in their favour, 9-6.

Now playing as Terrorists, HellRaisers eventually equalized the score after securing their second pistol of the match. From that moment, Gambit were helpless to stop Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow's men, who kept stringing rounds together to finish things off with a flawless T-side, 16-9.
