HLTV.org is happy to present our brand new POV demo section, since it is brand new it is of course still a little empty, but it will grow in time.

For a long time people have been requesting we start bringing POV demos here on HLTV.org, the reason why we have not been bringing POV demos earlier was a lack of staff, but with the addition of MIRAA to head up the news there is more time for new features.

The first demos we have are from tonights ENC round, and hopefully more demos from this round will follow tomorrow. From now on we will of course do our best to get POV demos from all big events that we attend, and hopefully become the place to go for the latest in-eye action as well as HLTV.

Without further adieu, the POV Demo section. The design is just like our other demo section, so it should be easy to navigate, and links to the latest demos have been added on the front page, right below the HLTV demos. And as always, you of course do not need to have an account or anything silly to download demos.

If you find any problems with this new feature please let us know so we can get them sorted out right away.

Hmm.. I can add so that if the match is in the stats system it will show the player stats if possible.. Guess that could be pretty cool, I'll look into that later.. :)

i`ve got lot of pov demos , so if u`r interested let me know. btw. gj job , always wanted pov demos on hltv.org =) edit: and yes , i read a comment above, u should really add the stats with each pov demo, like ct side score / t side score and final result. that would be a lot better cause we would know what to download.

I'll integrate it with the stats system for matches where we have stats, but it will take a bit before this is done, got a lot on the TODO list in front of it.. :)

this could be something to think about what you guys should maybe put a cs 1.6 sign on the side of POV's name if people get confused. Yet again this is HLTV.org(half-life TV- Counterstrike 1.6) for any new people :D :)

Can you change the format for downloading POV? It'll be nice if we could see frag counts or a link to stats for the match to see if the demo is worth downloading.

It will be great if you could add the "Name of the team" the player belonged to in that respective POV(Demo). It will not only help to know which to team the player belonged but also will let the users find the POVs of a desired team.

maybe you should create something like folders for teams and put there demos from players from that team, it'd clean mess up that already is there :P and help players that looks only demos from their favourite team :)

POV demo's normally are bigger in size than hltv demo's, try recording a demo of a entire match and go check the size :)

they are compressed, unrar them and you'll see that they are >100 mb size :D
