WCG Norway - Cancelled!

Yesterday the World Cyber Games (WCG) released a statement that there won’t be any Norwegian Counter-Strike Qualifier.

This means that we will not yet be able to see the likes of the reformed meet your makers ( mYm).

NESC, the Norwegian gaming community who were to host the qualifier, claim the cancellation is due to financial issues with sponsors. Even though the qualifiers have been cancelled attempts are being made to send a representative team to the WCG Finals in Italy.

Hmm, I wonder if eSports really are going to the right direction, just look at what happened with UK KODE5 qualifiers, now this, and one big ass LAN-event was cancelled here in Finland due to financial problems too (not that big really if you think about it, only 672 participants).. What's next, the CPL? And #9, maybe that was true 2-3 years back, when clans such as eoL were on top.

No see this is where you're going wrong. In case you haven't yet noticed, gotfrag rankings are a big joke, and they rank the countries according to how well they've done in the past, so it really has nothing to do with the current level.

Of course this years results count in too, but I'm pretty sure that Norway has only gone down in the rankings if you compare their current position with the one from, say, 3 years ago. Please tell me you understood now, I'm too tired to explain it again -.- In short: They are not the fift best country right now, but they WERE in the past, and that's why they are still so high in the rankings.

NO!!!! you're not right if they WERE best in the past and now they're not then they aren't in the rankings maybe you say something true but if they were too bad they aren't in the rankings understand me ..
