LanTrek 2019 announced with ~$11,500 prize pool; European qualifier dates revealed

This year's edition of LanTrek will have an ~$11,500 prize pool and six available slots from three open qualifiers. The two invites given out by the organizer have gone to HAVU and SJ.

LanTrek 2019 will be played at the Tampere Sports and Exhibition Hall in Tampere, Finland, where eight teams will be in attendance to fight for the ~$11,500 prize pool on March 1-2.

The tournament, which already has HAVU and SJ as invited teams, will feature a GSL group stage with two four-team groups that will play best-of-one openers and winners/losers matches before moving on to best-of-three deciders. The tournament will then conclude after a best-of-three single-elimination bracket to be played by the top two teams in each group.

Three qualifiers have been set up by the tournament organizers, from which six teams (two from each qualifier), will earn spots at the tournament. The dates and links for the qualifiers are:
