mouz's failure, iBUYPOWER issues, Major format & more: HLTV Confirmed Episode 3 VOD

HLTV Confirmed returned with the third episode of the third season, in which the panel took on all the hot topics of the previous week.

Update: You can watch the show back on VOD here:

The panelists, James Banks, Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Zvonimir "Professeur" Burazin, and Milan "Striker" Švejda, returned tonight with the third episode of the show's third season.

Lots has happened over the last week, including several surprises at the Europe and CIS Minors, such as MOUZ bombing out of the group stage at the hands of Valiance, while Gambit also disappointed by not making it through to the Major from their region.

mousesports' early exit at the Europe Minor will be among the main topics of the upcoming show

In the meantime, at iBUYPOWER Masters, which was far from a perfect event as it was plagued by organizational and technical issues from the start, the new Liquid grabbed their first-ever series win over Astralis in the grand final of the event, while the Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev-infused FaZe were eliminated in the groups by Ghost.

In recent news, ESL revealed the new Major format, which addresses the main criticisms of the previous systems, such as the lack of best-of-three series in the Swiss stages of the event and seeding.

That, alongside a preview of what's to come at the Americas and Asia Minors, which are set to kick off tomorrow, was among the main topics of the upcoming episode.

The full list of the main topics looks as follows:

- Breaking news: ESL reveals Major format
- EU & CIS Minors, MOUZ' and Gambit's failure & more
- Striker vs. Professeur, the GG.BET duel
- iBUYPOWER Masters issues, Liquid's triumph and FaZe's early exit
- Asia and Americas Minors preview
- Viewer questions

The first two episodes of the new season can be found here (#1) and here (#2).

I would say mousesports are not bad and it's not downrange for them. They will be top 4 this year too. Valiance is just better #ValianceTop1 #FearValiance #Tier1Factory

Of course they do, they went out 0-3 in the last major which means they have to qualify through the minor system. I'm not sure why you are surprised since teams which do badly have to qualify for tournaments.

no, its funny because hltv ranking is just for fankids because have no real value for tournaments managers sorry maybe it does have, but not for Valve tourneys. Thats what i mean

is it possible that mouz won't play any matches until 30th of March at the starseries s6 tournament? If so that would make me think almost irrationally that mouz lost the minor on purpose to get some more VACation o.O

I wouldn't blame them for taking some time off even if it were true that they didn't qualify on purpose. I mean all those hours behind a monitor can get pretty overwhelming and definitely it's not a healthy lifestyle, even though some pros compensate the sitting with gym or exercises.. It was just a thought that came up on my mind. Hopefully, we'll see mouz back on track soon!

I know u have spunj now but I liked it when you had a random guest from a team more Having spunj + a guest would be great as I believe he could ask the most interesting questions instead of 2 HLTV dudes and banks. Maybe a revised panel could be Banks Spunj Striker/prof Guest from a team Or Striker Prof Spunj Guest from team I like spunj
