HellRaisers replace Liquid at StarSeries i-League Season 7

Liquid have withdrawn from StarSeries i-League Season 7 due to a busy schedule, with HellRaisers replacing them at the event, the organizers have announced.

Liquid had initially been announced as one the first six invited teams to the $500,000 tournament back in November, but they have withdrawn from the tournament, citing a busy schedule.

At the moment, the only two events the North American side are confirmed to attend are the IEM Katowice Major and ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas, with the latter kicking off on April 12, only a few days after StarSeries i-League Season 7 comes to a close (April 7).

HellRaisers will return to the StarSeries stage in Season 7, after all

As their replacement, the organizers have chosen HellRaisers, who did not take part in the European qualifier that took place in December.

The updated team list of StarSeries i-League Season 7, which will take place in Shanghai on March 30 to April 7, looks as follows:

Nope, EPL 1st place prize is the same as Starladder, and it's more prestigious since the world's actual best teams will be at it unlike this even where it's pretty much just MIBR and a weakened FaZe. Also EPL counts towards the grand slam, so they were smart to choose preparing hard for EPL over this.

I wonder if Liquid plan to go the Astralis route and pick and choose the most important events. This could be really really good for their performance. Well our geography has been quite good and I'm from one of the less developed regions. To be honest our school system is very good compared to the foreign countries. Just for comparisson, I went to a university in Bratislava, but I mostly learn new things, which are more theoretical in nature. Many students from our school went to countries like Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Scotland. But these students are the ones helping their classmates because all the stuff they learn has already been taught at our high school. They also make a lot of projects and meaningless stuff. And I'm not talking about some unknown schools, most of these universities are pretty well known.
