Former Alternate female to play EPS

SNOGARD Dragons have confirmed that the former Alternate female team will play for them in the EPS league.

The German organisation was on the lookout for a new team after having disbanded the previous roster, which contained former TBH.eSports member Ludwig "brundle" Arnold, following a disappointing 11th-place finish in the league.

SNOGARD Dragons have now confirmed that the former Alternate team will present their colours in the upcoming EPS season.

It is the first time that an all-female squad will have the chance to play their trade in the top-tier of German Counter-Strike.

"We were some time without a CS team, which obviously made a lot of teams to apply, but none of them convinced us 100%," team manager Nils "Murderdoll" Brauer told readmore.de.

"When the girls of 'We are...' applied to join us as a normal female team, we immediately thought: 'Let's do something crazy!'

"We believe in the girls, we were looking for a team that convinced us, not just playing-wise, and we have finally found it."

SNOGARD Dragons will feature the following roster next season:

Germany Petra "Peewie" Jäckel
Germany Melanie "beyoNd*" Gutsche
Germany Bea "nknknk" Balz
Germany Tina "angel.th" Hülzer
Germany Jenny "Lunatic" Löhr

I won this squad with random mix , its not nice , they dont deserve to play mouz/alternate/n!/TBH , in my opinion any samy-pro team in europe can win them..

It is just unfair. Every EAS (Esl Amateur Series) player want to come that high and they get this place for free just because they are female. Well another 0 - 0 - 15 Team... I hope the other EPS Teams play serious against them. If they do they won't get more rounds than 30-50 :P

Get it for free... Well SNOGARD contracted them, it's not like the league granted them a place due to their sex. I guess it's about money for SNOGARD aswell.

yeah but they didn't manage anything. they don't deserve it. snogard should take young players from the amateur series and not a female team that lose against irc mixes...

It's their choice, they should do what they think is best. Maybe this allows them to pay less money, and gain money from sponsors etc etc etc

of course it's their choice ...but it doesn't make it fair though. :) but ye, most eas teams would fail just as hard as these girls will do, so it doesn't really matter i guess =)

Anyone can become good on aim_map or another 1v1 map, but in 5v5, girls will always loose, when playing competetive vs the better half in their country.

Excuses :D In Poland we have a lot of good, skilled females, but not in the same team. And tbh I have no idea why there is divide to male and female cs. Its not football, its online game :E

Even thou its an online game as you say, women will never get on the same level as men, because of how they grow up.. When boys are 10 their interrest are in sport and electronics, while the girls are having theirs in dolls, make-up and things like that.. And theres nothing wrong with that, it has been like that for ages, and it wont change ever.. Its just the nature, but that's the reason for men always being better than women in counter-strike.
