NEO open to offers inside and outside of the server

Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski and Virtus.pro have now officially parted ways after the player was removed from the active lineup late last year, leaving the Polish player free to look for new opportunities.

NEO, who was a member of Virtus.pro since his team was picked up by the organization in early 2014, is now free to pursue other endeavors as his contract with the Russian organization is now expired.

During his time in the organization, and with a team that including Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski, Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas, Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski, and Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński, was the longest standing rosters in CS:GO for a long time, the Pole went on to win 11 events, including the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major.

NEO is open to offers both internationally and locally

Now, with no sign of wanting to quit the industry he has been involved in for two decades, NEO has stated that he is looking to land in a new project, although he also said that it could just as well be outside of the server as in it.

An excerpt of his personal statement on the matter, which can be read in full here, states that:

"Currently, I am looking closely at both foreign and Polish scenes, and analysing the offers I get. My sport ambitions remain unchanged, set on the highest levels, hence I am especially looking for a long term promise in the next project I am involved in.

"My almost 20 years of experience in professional esports, allow me to craft different plans and there is a chance you will see me also in projects that are not tied to being a player.

Are you implying esport orgs are making money? They are terrible investments. Most of them will never be profitable. If you have shitload of money to throw to whatever you like, founding esports org might be reasonable. I don't think NEO is that rich.

I think zonic fits in that category as well though. Not about csgo but cs as a whole Anyhow I hope we will see him show up on analyst desks if that's the direction he will go

zonic is a legend, i still remember mtw 2008. He did the same thing with astralis, that guy doesnt get enough credit.

The thing is that zonic play in go quite short time. He was definietely legend of 1.6. Of course his exp from 1.6 pays off but 4 sure neo got better exp from Cs go.

Definitely, I didn't quite get what Martin was saying when I answered him earlier but it is true that neo has the full cs experience and knowledge and it will be very interesting to see where he will be "used" in the near future.

its the physics. he had godlike movement in 1.6 (one example : his 1v1 at clan mill and ladder jump) and that movement disappeared in csgo because of the engine.

Greatest player I have ever seen. In 1.6, he was simply unrivaled, nothing ever came close to him. In CSGO, it was obvious he lacked the same skill, but he was a genius nonetheless. I remember how he was constantly giving LG/SK a hard time, since it was hard to out-aim them, but he managed to outsmart players like coldzera and fallen easily. A true god among players. Wish him the best always.
