ZELIN joins Giants

Giants have secured the services of former AlienTech and OFFSET star Luís "⁠ZELIN⁠" Lousada, the Spanish organisation have announced.

In a Twitter post, Giants unveiled the 25-year-old as a backup player, but HLTV.org knows that he is currently being tested with a view to moving into the starting lineup.

ZELIN will be making his first appearance for Giants this Saturday in the second European open qualifier for IEM Sydney, replacing Joao "⁠KILLDREAM⁠" Ferreira, who has been moved to the bench.

ZELIN joins Giants on trial

The move comes as a massive boost for Giants, who are currently ranked 76th in the world. ZELIN has long been regarded as one of Portugal's finest talents and came close to joining Giants back in September, when the Spanish organisation unveiled the line-up, before Rui "⁠RIZZZ⁠" Lima was picked up.

With ZELIN's addition, Giants currently have:

no i agree age has no bearing in actual mechanical skill. career has a bearing tho. this guy is so far behind. its hard to reach a certain age and continue to play the game semi professionally. and he kinda missed his shot i think. he broke out 4 years ago. yet this is the first time he managed to get onto a team with fox.

and yet he went to a spanish team and destoyed the spanish league, played against some european teams and didn't "shaked". before that played onde the top 3 teams in Portugal for a long time. is seen as one of the top5 portuguese players. he deserves respect nonetheless. in Portugal being a csgo player is not as easy as it might look like

spanish league is irrelevant upper portuguse scene is irrelevant. this dude had the potential to break out in a legitimate top 20 team. and now he missed his chance due to waiting or not getting any offers previously. this call up to a team with well knon pt players should ve happened years ago. dude deserves the respect and its not easy to be csgo palyer in pt i agree. 25 yr olds have non csgo realate problems compared to people in their teens. if he is to make money off of csgo even foxs team is not enough. this move should have happened years agı. hence my original point.
