ESL LA League Season 3 - Southern ConeFurious to ESL LA League Season 3 Finals over All Knights
Furious have assured themselves a spot at the ESL LA League Season 3 LAN Finals with a 2-0 victory over All Knights in the Southern Cone qualifier's grand final.
With the culmination of ESL Latin America League S3 - Brazil, W7M and Isurus were the first two teams to earn their place at the LAN Finals. With their victories, two more spots from the 'Northern Cone' & 'Southern Cone' qualifiers make up the four-team tournament in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Southern Cone qualifier saw 7 teams battle their way through the round-robin stage, where the Chileans of All Knights were the first to make their mark in the decider without dropping a single game, while the Argentinians of Furious tackled Quad 16-11 to reach the best-of-three grand final.
The grand final kicked off on Nabil "nbl" Aleua & company's map pick, Dust2, but the Chilean side displayed a stout defensive first half, as they claimed an 11-4 lead at halftime. However, things turned sour for All Knights, who were unable to tame Luca "Luken" Nadotti as he posted an impressive 1.44 rating in the Argentinians twelve round comeback to secure the 16-14 map victory.
Up next in the series was Nuke. A highly-contested first half saw the two teams go back and forth, but Furious were able to edge the 8-7 halftime victory before switching sides. From there, the Argentinian side dominated the second half on their T side, with Luken once again leading the way with a 1.79 rating, helping his squad win eight out of nine rounds to take the 2-0 series, and book their place at the LA League Season 3 LAN Finals.

With the Northern Cone qualifier still underway, three out of four teams are now confirmed at the ESL LA League Season 3 LAN Finals, which will take place on March 2-3, where $10,660 and two spots for the ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas will be up for grabs.
