NikoM steps down from TeamOne

Nicolas "⁠NikoM⁠" Miozzi is no longer part of TeamOne's roster, the Brazilian organisation has announced.

In a statement, TeamOne explained that the Argentine player asked to be allowed to seek a new challenge when the organisation began to plan for the 2019 tournament season.

Formerly of Isurus, NikoM signed for TeamOne in May 2018 following Pedro "⁠drg⁠" Lima's departure with hopes of proving his worth in North America after establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in his region.

During his time with TeamOne, the Brazilian team won the ESEA Advanced Season 28 league and the Gfinity Spring Series but struggled to perform on LAN, placing 9th-12th at Fragadelphia 12, 9th-10th at Toyota Master Bangkok and 5th-6th at the most recent Americas Minor.

"NikoM was part of an important moment for our organisation, during which the team moved and established itself abroad," TeamOne CEO Alexandre "kakavel" Peres told Mais e-Sports.

"I am in Brazil right now trying to find the best replacement for him."

With NikoM's departure, TeamOne, who currently have a 6-4 record in ESEA MDL, are now down to:
