We spoke to Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo after MIBR made it through to the playoffs with a 3-1 record to get his perspective on the return to a Brazilian lineup and on their New Legends Stage performance.

The in-game leader talked about how MIBR's perspective and playstyle has changed compared to the last time this lineup had played together in 2017.

We got FalleN's perspective on MIBR's slow start at the Major

We asked him about the team's poor start at the Major, a 3-16 loss to Cloud9 on Inferno in the opening match of the New Legends Stage, and what they learned as the first phase progressed. FalleN also commented on Renegades as their quarter-final matchup, the AUG meta, and the reseeding system in place at the tournament.

Yes, its not a tier 1 event. Its not Malta or cs_summit but its not big event either. Btw, two teams dont make a tier 1 tournament, you delusional dumbass. So if TL and Astralis played Asian EPL Finals with teams like Vici, MVP and more, it would have been a tier 1 tournament, right? Look at other teams, FaZe that was more shit than ever, Ghost, Luminosity, complexity, shitty cloud9 and fnatic that almost lost to fucking complexity and managed to win 1 map against liquid just because twist overperformed and other than that they got destroyed by TL + poor prize pool, only 8 teams attending, lasted for 2 days and the tournament organizers couldnt even give players decent conditions. Yeah, tier 1 for sure, keep being in denial
