Spirit add chopper, iDISBALANCE

Spirit have reinforced their roster through the additions of Leonid "⁠chopper⁠" Vishnyakov and Artem "⁠iDISBALANCE⁠" Egorov.

The signings come as an effort to reconstruct the roster following the departures of Dmitriy "⁠Dimaoneshot⁠" Bandurka and Vadim "⁠DavCost⁠" Vasilyev, who were released from the organisation on February 26 after a disappointing run at the IEM Katowice Major.

Formerly of Vega Squadron, chopper parted ways with the organisation after spending over two years on the starting roster. A variety of results were accrued over the course of his tenure, including participation in the first stage of three of the four most recent Major tournaments.

As for iDISBALANCE, the 22-year-old recently concluded a five-month-long stint with Syman, who fell short at the CIS Minor leading to Katowice after sustaining losses to Gambit and Spirit.

According to Spirit's manager, Ruslan Bugrin, the decision to sign the duo was a streamlined process:

"Having decided to change the roster, we immediately began testing different players in order to understand who we want to continue with," he said in an official statement.

"Almost immediately agreed to choose Leonid, with whom we started searching for a sniper. The searches were not a long process: the tests showed that Artyom, who had played very well lately, fits perfectly into our team.

"After the searches, we immediately started joint training sessions and we will be able to try out the new roster in the official matches very soon!"

With the new additions, Spirit are now composed of:
