Grayhound invited to Cobx Masters

The Oceanic team has received the first invitation to the ~$100,000 event that is set to take place in Mumbai, India.

The Indian event will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre on April 5-7 with six teams. Previously, Alpha Red and BOOT-d[S] punched their ticket to the competition through the Southeast Asia Qualifier.

On Sunday, Grayhound claimed one of the two invites for the event, which came in the aftermath of their campaign in Katowice where they made it to the New Challengers Stage of the Major after finishing second at the Asia Minor. The Oceanic side's newest addition Simon "⁠Sico⁠" Williams will make his LAN debut with the team at Cobx Masters.

The event will use a best-of-one, round-robin format in the group stage and the top two sides will advance to the playoffs. The winner of the single-elimination, best-of-three bracket will take home ~$60,000 while the runners-up earn ~$20,000.

Additionally, the FACEIT duo of Daniel "⁠ddk⁠" Kapadia and James "⁠BARDOLPH⁠" Bardolph have been confirmed to be commentators for the LAN event.
