HLTV.org is live from Chongqing, China, where the WESG 2018 World Finals are about to get underway.

The WESG 2018 World Finals are set to begin with 27 teams from all over the world contending for the lion's share of the $890,000 prize pool. The tournament will kick off with a round-robin best-of-two group stage before moving on to the best-of-three playoffs which start with the round of 16.

The WESG group stage is about to kick off in Chongqing

Covering the event on behalf of HLTV.org will be Joao "rzyx" Ferreira and Lucas Aznar Miles, who will be publishing photos and interviews from the event during the upcoming days.

i literally live in this city,im so thrilled that i finally get the chance to see teams like mibr g2 tyloo in person. I love ChongQing,my hometown~ Just bought my tickets of the final day,i hope g2 could win the final,so i might get the chance to ask kennys to take a pic with me.im such a big fan of him: )
