bondik joins Winstrike

Winstrike have secured the services of former HellRaisers and Gambit member Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk, it has been announced.

The 25-year-old will step into the shoes of Jan "⁠wayLander⁠" Rahkonen, who has been shown the exit door just five months into his stint with the team.

During his time with Winstrike, wayLander averaged a 0.86 rating on LAN, helping the team to qualify for IEM Katowice via the Minor Play-In. At the Major, the Russian side went out 2-3 in the New Challengers Stage after recording losses to NRG, ENCE and Cloud9.

bondik has signed with Winstrike

bondik joins Winstrike as a free agent after being released by Gambit earlier in the month together with compatriot and coach Andrey "⁠B1ad3⁠" Gorodenskiy. He spent just three months with the team, attending the SuperNova CS:GO Malta and the CIS Minor.

"I am glad to be a part of Winstrike," he told the team's website. "I believe it has good players and, if we work hard, we will be able to go far.

"Now we are trying to get used to each other. Soon we will try to bring joy to our fans. Thanks for your support."

The Ukrainian will make his first appearance for Winstrike later on Tuesday as the team will take on Virtus.pro in the opening round of the GG.BET Sydney Invitational, scheduled for 18:00 .

Bondik is a great upgrade tbh. Whifflander har like 1 good lan a few years ago when he went nuts. So i guess ppl have just been waiting for that to occur more often. But sadly he chokes hard on lan.. probably an insane pugger. I remember at the major when winstrike went out.. he almost cried.. he had the worst game since pronax was out of weed. And waylander seemes like a really good guy. But he might be a serial killer. Who knows
