forZe receive final invite to Copenhagen Games 2019
FORZE are the final team to receive a direct invite to Copenhagen Games 2019, the event's organisers have announced.
The Russian squad join the three prior invited teams, HEROIC, Epsilon and Sprout, which leaves only four slots open, to be filled by the sides that successfully traverse a two-stage qualifier taking place on April 18.
This will be the first LAN event of the year for FORZE, who are currently ranked 26th in the world. The Russian team ended 2018 on a high by reaching the semi-finals at the PLG Grand Slam, where they lost to eventual champions fnatic in a thrilling series.

Copenhagen Games 2019 will offer ~$100,000 in prize money and will take place on April 19-20 at the Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen, Denmark. Eight participants will be split into two groups, duking it out in a best-of-three, round robin format. Two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which in turn will see a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket.
Below is an updated participants' list for Copenhagen Games 2019:
